Lanka. After Colombo Negombo is the most famous place. It is a superb town
to enjoy beach life. It is also interesting for its canal system. The
beautiful beach resort is located in neighborhood of the airport. Negobo is
the perfect place to either commence or end your tour of Sri Lanka. Sea food
of Negombo is known all over Lanka for its freshness. You can lie down on
the idyllic beaches, soak in beautiful sunsets and enjoy delicious seafood.
The tourist area is about 3km north of the town.

Negombo is a nice place to visit. However, the beach resorts of South
Sri Lanka have overshadowed it. Pamunngama is also a desirable destination

Portuguese style churches and bunches of houses and beach side restaurants.

set against the back drop of the lapping blue waters. The tourists can also
have pleasure in the beautiful calm waters of the Bentota River which have
good sailing, windsurfing and water-skiing.
